Butchart Gardens

Benvenuto, Italian for ‘welcome’, is the name the Butcharts used for their original estate, now a National Historic Site of Canada, and still privately owned by family descendants. The Butchart Gardens offers 22ha (55 acres) of wonderful floral display located in Greater Victoria on Vancouver Island. The family’s commitment to horticulture and hospitality continues to this day.

Capilano Suspension Bridge

Follow in the footsteps of the millions of visitors who have crossed Capilano Suspension Bridge since 1889.

The original bridge was constructed of hemp rope and cedar planks. 450 feet (137m) long and 230 feet (70m) high, today’s bridge is made of reinforced steel safely anchored in 13 tons of concrete on either side of the canyon. Can you say “I made it!”?

Craigdarroch Castle
