Daily Itinerary

  • Day 1
    Vancouver to Victoria
    • Depart Vancouver at 7:15am (please arrive at Canada Place by 7:00am)
    • Ferry through the beautiful Gulf Islands
    • Enjoy a scenic coastal drive through the beautiful communities of Oak Bay and James Bay - Stop at Beacon Hill Park and Mile 0 (the start of the Trans Canada Highway)
    • Stop at the Fisherman's Wharf and feed the seals
    • Sightseeing tour of downtown Victoria including the Inner Harbour, Government street, China town, Empress hotel, and legislative buildings
    • Visit either Craigdarroch Castle or Royal BC Museum (admission to one of the two attractions is included in the price)
    • Check into the hotel at 4:00pm.
    • Free time to relax and enjoy the hotel facilities.
    • Option to meet your guide in the evening to go out for dinner and experience the night life in Victoria
  • Day 2
    Victoria to Vancouver

Optional Activities should be booked for and paid in advance. We can not guarantee availability if you wait to book the day of the tour and the price of activities will increase if you do not order and pay in advance.

2. ACCOMMODATION
The price is based on 4 people sharing a room with two queen beds. You can upgrade to double or single occupancy for an additional cost.

3. DEPARTURE TIME
Please arrive at Canada Place no later than 7:00am. The bus will leave right at 7:15am and we do not give refunds and you can not go on another tour if you arrive late.

4. ITEMS TO BRING

Departure location

This tour departs from Canada Place, between the East and West Convention Cente in downtown Vancouver. The departure location is conveniently located next to the Waterfront Skytrain station and close to many downtown hotels. Please arrive at the departure location 15 minutes prior to the departure time of your tour.

    Butchart Gardens

    The Butchart Gardens features fifty-five acres of stunning floral show gardens and is a National Historic Site of Canada. In addition to the beautiful Floral display, the Gardens also has an amazing fireworks show every Saturday evening throughout the summer months. The Butchart Gardens are located approximately 30 minutes from downtown Victoria so the price of the Gardens option includes the shuttle cost from downtown Victoria and return in addition to the admission cost.

    The Royal BC Museum is a place of discovery. Through unique galleries, the Museum showcases the human and natural history of British Columbia and temporary exhibits from other countries and cultures. Authentic artifacts and specimens are displayed in highly realistic settings, giving visitors the experience of another time and place. This summer you can visit the Dinosaur display and celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee with 60 portraits by royal photographer, Cecil Beaton.

    Choose your whale watching adventure from a 45 ft ocean cruiser, which offers both inside and outside seating, OR in an exhilarating ridged-hulled zodiac.     Craigdarroch Castle

    Craigdarroch was built between 1887-1890 for Robert Dunsmuir, a Scottish immigrant who made his fortune from Vancouver Island coal. The immense fortune of the Dunsmuir family is reflected in the four floors of exquisite stained glass windows, intricate woodwork and fabulous Victorian era furnishings. Your self guided tour will include 39 rooms, most of which are furnished lavishly in the 1890s-1900s period, so enjoy the ambiance as you climb the 87 stairs to the tower. There you’ll see fabulous views of Victoria, the Strait of Juan de Fuca, and the Olympic Mountains.
